This song was one of Luis' adds to our song list, and we love playing it! It's super fun and catchy and it got us a nice tip the other day at our gig. "Electric Love" by Børns doesn't appear to have hit the mainstream but it's definitely worth giving it a listen. Hope everyone enjoys our violin and guitar cover.

This song makes me smile and cry at the same time, I love it so much.
I had a morning wedding at Leu Gardens where I played electric violin to backing tracks. The main song request was A Thousand Years for the Processional and Recessional, but starting at different parts in the song. For this I made 2 separate tracks with different loops so I could anticipate longer or shorter needs. This is an example of why it's good to also be somewhat adequate at audio editing within a DAW! I use Logic Pro.
Amy & Luis played a wedding at Estate on the Halifax today and loved the beautiful acoustics in the chapel. The bride walked to "One Song" from Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and the recessional was one of our favorites, "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)" made famous by Natalie Cole.
The cocktail hour took place at the Snow White Cottage, surrounded by beautiful gardens and ponds. We loved watching the turtles swim by! This gorgeous wedding took place in the middle of Downtown Orlando at The Balcony. I especially enjoyed the view and playing the Star Wars Main Theme for the Groom's entrance.
It was also nice that a high-rise condo resident found me on my way out to ask for information for a wedding! This was such a fun wedding for Amy & Luis, everyone was so nice and fun to be around, and it was especially fun because the processional music requests included video game music! Luis is an expert at VG music, check out his band GG CAT for more.
It was another scaled down wedding due to the pandemic, so the venue moved to F&D Kitchen and Bar in Lake Mary. The couple requested a classical prelude, Lazy Afternoons and Dearly Beloved (Kingdom Hearts) for the processional, No Matter Where You Are (Us the Duo) for the recessional, and modern pop for the cocktail hour. We threw in some Disney tunes since they met as dancers at Disney, and it was great to hear everyone singing along :-) Cindy Zingerella at Engaging Events did a phenomenal job planning the wedding and the day went so smoothly for us, really was a pleasure to work with her and can't wait to see them all again next year. Amy & Luis will return for their big 1 Year Anniversary Party! Amy & Luis played a scaled down wedding at Crystal Ballroom at Veranda in Metro West Orlando, the guest list was reduced by 50% but the love was still overflowing. We had a great time playing a full Classical Prelude, it was the requested style but also musician's choice of tunes so we picked our newest set of Classical Duets, written specifically as duets and it was so fun and refreshing! We also played an R&B/Modern Pop Cocktail hour with songs from artists including: Boyz II Men, Khalid, and The Weeknd. It was nice to receive the compliments on both styles and see the guests grooving, from the kids all the way to grandma :-)
This intimate wedding was not what the couple was originally planning but I'm glad they could still go through with a smaller ceremony. Next year it will be Amy & Luis at their 1-year Anniversary Party for a full celebration! I can't wait to celebrate again with them:-) They didn't have any specific song requests so I used my best judgement to create a mix of traditional classical and classic love songs. Thank you to Mission Inn for hosting and the guests for all the nice compliments!
Amy & Luis changed things up by creating an electric violin and DJ set. The mashup of Take On Me and Blinding Lights is a sample of this new offering. Amy & Luis were a surprise gift for the Birthday Party of the coolest grandma in Winter Springs, Terry! She turned 80 years old but is so young! She danced and sang along and truly was the life of the party. One of her sons hired us from California and dialed in via FaceTime to join the party. They were a great little audience. Some of the songs we performed included: American Pie, Margaritaville, Dream a Little Dream, and Come Back to Sorrento.
